Meet Dr. Odette

Dr. Odette attended a small Christian college in Elmhurst Illinois where she graduated with high honors in 1976. She then attended the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois, where she obtained a BS degree in human anatomy and a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1980.
 

Dr. Odette has been appointed by the Governor to the Michigan Board of Chiropractic Examiners. She represents all chiropractors in the state of Michigan with a term to expire in 2014.

In 1986 she received the Outstanding Humanitarian Award  for her devotion to both her profession and her patients. She is a member of the Michigan Chiropractic Association.

As the Mayor for the City of Woodhaven she is very involved in Community Affairs.

Dr. Odette has been in practice in Woodhaven/Browntown Michigan for 30 years. Odette Chiropractic is a family care clinic that treats all patients from infants to the elderly. As Dr. Odette tells all her new patients, "If we can help you we will tell you. If we cannot help you, we will tell you that also.

Dr. Odette is trained in all forms of manipulation. She works side by side with many specialists, including orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, and neurologists. She has attended advanced courses on spinal decompression and is certified in performing Manipulation under Anesthetic through Bridgeport University.

Dr. Odette is on staff at the Southgate Surgical Center.

Meet Dr. Ellen Lazar

Dr. Ellen graduated from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia and has been in practice for 16 years. She joined Odette Chiropractic in 1998. She has advanced post graduate training in orthopedics and neurology. Dr. Ellen is currently being certified as a wellness practitioner with emphasis on the breakdown of the human body from bio mechanical instability. Her day not only consists of correcting spinal misalignments and improving spinal structure and function but advising her patients on nutrition, life style exercises, and changes in order that they may be truly healthy.

Dr.Ellen has received her advanced certification in spinal decompression. She is also certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia.

Dr. Lazar is on staff at the Southgate Surgical Center.

Meet Dr. Dan Corne

Dr. Corne has been in practice since 2001. He is a graduate of Life Chiropractic College. His post-graduate training is in lumbar disc pathologies. He has done extensive work in the field of herniated discs and the relief of leg pain. 

He is an avid hockey player who enjoys treating sports injuries.  Dr. Corne was born and raised Downriver and is a graduate of Woodhaven High School. He is a great addition to the Odette Staff.

Meet Dr. Wells

Dr. Valerie Wells is the newest addition to Odette Chiropractic. She is a 1997 graduate of Life University. She has been in practice for 13 years and spent time abroad treating patients in underpriveledged areas of the world.

In addition to running our Spinal Decompression Units, she specializes in precise treatment techniques that includes Energy Balancing and Trigger Point Methods.

She is our nutritional advisor who helps our patients decide what nutritional program is best for them.
